There has been a lot of talk about students coming back to campus whether we have the means to do so, whether it is safe, and all of the above. Our plan is to ensure we are able to work with state officials, university medical faculty, researchers, and administrators to transition to a new normal. We the Sanchez Ticket want to continue the Hybrid method because it is the most effective way to continue to accommodate all students. Our platform pieces consist of Mental Health, Safety, and Innovation all three are affected unless we are able to make sure every student’s voice is heard and we are able to assist with their needs.

As we learn more about Covid-19 and a larger portion of the population is becoming vaccinated we will work with administration and health professionals to continue the push for in-person classes for those who feel comfortable with returning to the setting. We also understand that there are people amongst the faculty and student body who are high risk, and we want to accommodate them and make sure they have equal accessibility as the students participating in an in-person setting. Our platform piece Innovation is based to work with students and faculty to overcome and adapt to the challenges we may face while continuing inclusivity for all.

All the best,

The Sanchez Ticket
